Metal embossing with teens.

The Ottawa Catholic School Board has a great program, that each spring brings together local artist with students from grade 7 to 12 to try new types of art that would other wise be hard to bring into the schools. For me it means sharing my love of metal embossing to a great group of creative teens. I'm always inspired by the designs they create.

Unfortunately I didn't managed to get a photo of everyone's finished piece but you can see how wonderful they were from the ones I did get.

Fashion ATC's

This months ATC theme was fashion. I just managed to get an ATC made after working overtime on my chunky books that were due the same time.

It's always so interesting to see the diversity in creating with the same theme.

Streetscape Chunky Book Swap

Each year the ATC group I belong to does a Chunky book swap. This means that we each create as many pages as there are people that sign up for the challenge. This year the theme was Streetscapes and we had 10 people sign up. I think I can safely say everyone enjoyed this theme and it is evident in the page results. I myself went a little doodle crazy and had a hard time finishing on time. I think I could have kept going for a couple more weeks. But isn't that always the way!

It was so much fun, we're already contemplated what next years theme should be!
